I would like to thank the people who took the time to answer my plea for help. I believe I found a solution to the problem, thanks to Aajay suggestions. I was able to export the file with the ".ged" file extension. When I imported it back, it went to my Ancestry Family Tree program which also resides on the same drive.I went back to the PAF program and was not sucessful in my attempts
to
start a new file. It looks like the program itself went belly-up.I don’t have a disk for the PAF program. It was downloaded from the
LDS web site.(for free) I am not sure whether I want to use that
program again or to stick with the old one (AFT).Thank you again everybody.
